Sheriff

The Sheriff is responsible for all operations of the office including the budget.

Chief of Staff

The Chief of Staff answers directly to the Sheriff.  All operations of the sheriff’s office fall under the supervision of the Chief of Staff with the exception of Internal Affairs and the Department Attorney.  The Chief of Staff is the acting Sheriff in the Sheriff’s absence.

Operation Director

The Operations Director is a civilian position.  The following departments are the responsibility of the Operations Director.

·         Certification & Compliance

·         Human Resources

·         Supply & Inventory

·         Internal Audit

·         Training Coordinator

Law Enforcement Captain

The Law Enforcement Captain is responsible for all law enforcement operations.  The following departments are the responsibility of the Law Enforcement Captain.

·         Patrol

·         Agriculture & Environmental Investigations

·         Criminal Investigations Division (CID)

·         Liaison Officer (Liaison between the District Attorney’s Office and the Sheriff’s Office).

Corrections Captain

The Corrections Captain is responsible for all corrections operations.
