Tom Jones, a Georgia Law Enforcement Certified and life-long dedicated law enforcement professional, aspires to be the Sheriff of Union County, Georgia in 2024. Influenced by his father, a WWII veteran and police officer, Tom embarked on his journey in public safety at a young age, becoming Florida Department of Corrections’ youngest correctional officer at 18.

His extensive career spans roles as a Deputy, Chief Investigator, Presidential Protection Task Force Member, Swat Team member, detective, and more, fostering collaborations with state and federal agencies, and overseeeing multi-million dollar budgets with great success.

Tom’s love and admiration for Union County, his unwavering passion for community safety and his disdain for drug-related issues fuel his campaign, offering a promising future for Union County with a staunch commitment to fairness, accountability,  transparency, and the well-being of Union County’s brave police force.

Tom Jones is the only candidate that can make Union County safe from the ever-encroaching crime and dangers that surround us while keeping the small-town charm that makes Union County the most beautiful county in Georgia.
